I am over halfway through <I>The Maltese Falcon</I> now, and I like it a lot. It's our book club book for the month, so I think that we should watch the movie at our meeting, since none of us have seen it either. <BR/><BR/>And I really like the fantasy/sci-fi genre (more so fantasy, though), so I will definitely be reading your site since we seem to have similar taste in books! There's a lot of religious stuff going on beneath the surface, besides everything else.
