		<description>I always ask people, "what did you like in particular? (about the book they're recommending).  That usually gives me a good idea of whether or not it holds an interest for me.  Other than that, I stick to classics or choose by topic rather than author.  That way if an author's style isn't to my taste, at least it is a topic that I enjoy.</description>

		<description>I'm a browser. I also choose from books people recommend - both friends and bloggers. My TBR Mountain (books I don't have but are on the list anyway) won't ever be completed in my lifetime but the accumulation of titles gives me a lot of pleasure all the same.</description>
